Dear R users, I like to see plots with the tickmarks covering all range of data. For example, instead of plot(rnorm(100)), which gives y axis tick marks between -2 and 2, while the data has a wider range I usually do this: x=rnorm(100); plot(x, ylim=range(pretty(range(x))) where y axis tick marks are between -3 and 3, covering the whole data range.
