Hi, I am looking for an Rmpi tutorial. Can someone please point me to a helpful tutorial? In particular, I am wanting to use mpi.spawn.Rslaves() function of Rmpi package. The difficulty I am having is that I want to use (arbitrary?) node on the local network. I am trying hosts argument of mpi.spawn.Rslaves(), but without success. The documen- tation says, “NULL or LAM node numbers to specify where R slaves to be spawned.” What’s a LAM node? Thank you for your help.
