Running openSUSE R version : language R version.string R version 2.12.0 Under development (unstable) (2010-05-05 r51914) I get the following error: configure: error: "Cannot load JAGS library in /usr/local/lib" ERROR: configuration failed for package ?rjags? * removing ?/usr/lib/R/library/rjags? I believe R is complaining that it can't find the jags library. You can find out about it here: www-fis.iarc.fr/~martyn/software/jags There appear to be rpms available. - Phil Spector Statistical Computing Facility Department of Statistics UC Berkeley spector at stat.berkeley.edu On Wed, 24 Nov 2010, alon.benari wrote:> > Hello > > I cannot update the package rjags. Thanks Phil, To complicate matters still let me add that I have been using JAGS and rjags for a while, never had a problem , so R can find JAGS and I can interface with JAGS using rjags... but I cannot update it? Your opinion? Maybe I need to update a path to rjags? maybe I can move it to the mentioned directory? Any ideas if that can work Best, Alon -- View this message in context: r.789695.n4.nabble.com/Cannot-update-R-tp3057774p3057875.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
