Hi everyone, So I am trying to see which ecological parameter of different parks in nyc influence the most the diversity of the medium-sized mammals in those parks. I have a bunch of different parameters for each park I'm done studying and the presence (1) and absence (0) of each mammal. I wanted to do a principal component analysis of those data to know which ones of those parameters are the most important. Here is what I have: Parc PBP VCP PP CP surfacekm? 0.917 4.64 0.0213 3.4 woodenarea 0.514 0.6355 0.32 0.4952 scrubland 0.0905 0.0412 0.06 0.0498 lawn 0.3654 0.2837 0.50 0.296 lake 0.0028 0.0166 0.12 0.1488 wetareas 0.0273 0.0230 0 0.0102 intertidalearea 0.0283 0 0 0 sportsfields 0.0887 0.2579 0.12 0.1323 humanactivity 0.4196 0.7271 0.23 0.7912 #ofhighways 2 3 0 0 #ofroads 4 22 7 11 distanceA 5.31 4.02 1.61 4.02 distanceB 6.12 4.51 3.7 4.02 distanceC 7.56 5.47 7.72 6.44 distanceD 9.66 9.66 19.31 9.01 AvgPopN 1133 0 5380 6835 AvgPopS 0 7022 5380 4711 AvgPopE 0 3592 8536 4307 AvgPopW 3940 3220 4840 9360 raccoon 1 1 1 1 skunk 1 1 1 1 opossum 1 1 1 0 rabbit 1 1 1 0 groundhog 0 0 0 0 muskrat 0 0 0 0 I get to open the .txt with R but then it gives me something pretty weird when I try to use the function dudi.pca(parcs)... Can anyone suggest me how I should to my analysis? I would really really be thankful for that!
