R help - Jan 2010 - fatal error unable to restore saved data in .rdata

Dear R help team,

I am trying to open R to continue my analysis but it doesn't want to open
and I get this message "fatal error unable to restore saved data in
.rdata". I don't know what went wrong ( iam using Windows). Could you
please help me on this? Thanks a lot

Rename the .rdata file to something else, and R won't try to open it. 
It looks as though somehow it has been corrupted.

If it was the only place you stored your intermediate results, you're 
going to have to start over.  But next time, don't do that.

Hi

could it be that some package is not installed which was used during 
previous session? If it is true, you can add a package and try to open it 
again.
