R help - Nov 2009 - arg min ???

Is there function what aproximate vector of parameters some function to
minimum ?

tet={tet1,tet2} .... i have they starting value

and i want to find the tet what minimalizing some function of tet ?

Perhaps:

  which.min( fn(tet) )
