Can you at least show us what you were doing. It sounds like you were
trying to 'load' a text file, not something that was saved with
'save'. Here is what I get:

Error: bad restore file magic number (file may be corrupted) -- no data loaded
In addition: Warning message:
file 'trackV3.r' has magic number '# rea'
Use of save versions prior to 2 is deprecated
Which is very similar to your message. If you did a 'write.table',
then use 'read.table' to read it back in.
