R help - Aug 2009 - changing the Date format.

Hi everyone,

i have a data frame called 'sample'. in that 'sample' data frame
variable
called 'starts' is there like this

starts
37987
37988
37989
37990 
37991

now i want change that variable into 'yyyy-mm-dd' format. can any body
help
in this aspect.

Check out the as.Date function.
?as.Date
