Dear R users,
Thanks in advance.
I am using R 2.9.1 on Windows XP.
I am trying to install above, but faced problem.
I have described the steps below.
1. I like to install locally. That means I like to install after downloading the
required files into my hard drive.
2. Java Runtime Environment (JRE 1.5.0-07) is installed
3. I have downloaded eclipse-SDK-3.5-win32.zip
- installed it
- clicked on eclipse.exe and provided Workspace
- "Java - Eclipse SDK" appaers on the top left hand corner of the
windows
4. I have downloaded site-statet-00.08.00.zip and I am looking for the remaining
steps to finish the installation. I have tried this way:
In eclipse: Help / Install New Software / Add / Archive: path +
site-statet-00.08.00.zip / Clicked in the radio button StatET for R, but
received an error.
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be
found.
Software being installed: StatET for R 0.8.0.b200905172200sw
(de.walware.statet.r.feature.group 0.8.0.b200905172200sw)
Missing requirement: StatET for R 0.8.0.b200905172200sw
(de.walware.statet.r.feature.group 0.8.0.b200905172200sw) requires
'org.eclipse.platform.feature.group
[3.4.0,3.5.0)' but it could not be found
Once again, thank you very much for the time you have given.
I am looking forward for your reply.
Regards,
Deb
