Dear sir, I want to know about R command for parameter estimation for generalized Poisson regression. yours faithfully Arafat Ud Zaman 4th year(Hons) Applied statistics University of Dhaka Mob- +8801715173176 E-mail: arafat.zaman@yahoo.com azaman1@isrt.ac.bd azaman1@quantummethod.org.bd [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
Not 100% sure what you are looking for, but have a look at the Generalized Event Count model in the Zelig package. It will also let you fit a Poisson and other event count models by MLE.> -----Original Message----- > From: azaman1 at isrt.ac.bd > Sent: Tue, 24 Mar 2009 23:26:59 +0600 > To: r-help at r-project.org > Subject: [R] generalized Poisson regression > > Dear sir, > I want to know about R command for parameter estimation for generalized > Poisson regression. > > yours faithfully > > Arafat Ud Zaman > 4th year(Hons) > Applied statistics > University of Dhaka > Mob- +8801715173176 > E-mail: arafat.zaman at yahoo.com > azaman1 at isrt.ac.bd > azaman1 at quantummethod.org.bd > > [[alternative HTML version deleted]] > > ______________________________________________ > R-help at r-project.org mailing list > https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help > PLEASE do read the posting guide > http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html > and provide commented, minimal, self-contained, reproducible code.____________________________________________________________ FREE 3D EARTH SCREENSAVER - Watch the Earth right on your desktop! I once tried Generalized Poisson parameter estimation by their suggestion side by side with quasi-likelihood methods in my diploma thesis and found really no difference in interpretation. -- Johannes H?sing There is something fascinating about science.
