R help - Apr 2008 - ts.plot() labeling x-axis

Hello,

I have tried a few variants of a solution from the previous posts, but
perhaps my syntax is wrong.  I am using ts.plot(data_as_columns) and
would like the label the x axis using some labels (in my case minutes
after 9am).

Any ideas how to use the plot params and the Axis function to accomplish
this?

Any help is very appreciated.

Have a look at chartSeries in the quantmod package.  It can handle
financial style series formatting quite well. Make sure to get the
newest version of xts and quantmod from CRAN - as there have been
recent updates to the charting facility.

Some documentation can be found at http://www.quantmod.com . A new
charting example page is in the works as well.

There is also a function in 'xts' called axTicksByTime which may be of
use in conjunction with the R function axis().
