R help - Sep 2007 - Implementation of the butter() function for filtering.

How do I use the Butterworth filter from the signal library to simulate
an antialias filter, that was analog?  I know basically how to use the
butter() function, but am not sure how to apply it to the data.  Does
the filter() function work.  Can I use the plane='s', i.e. analog
version?  Thanks for the time.
