Dear All, The package mratios can perform inferences for ratios of normal means. Is there some other package to do the same but with non-normal populations. Since I have got large samples, an asymptotic procedure would be fine. Thanks in advance, Paul
For large samples you have asymptotic normality! --- Paul Smith <phhs80 at gmail.com> wrote:> Dear All, > > The package mratios can perform inferences for > ratios of normal means. > Is there some other package to do the same but with > non-normal > populations. I am a bit confused with your replies: some of you maintain that mratios can be used with large samples of non-normal populations whereas others direct me to use bootstrap. Paul
