Hi everyone, I have a question about M value and how it corresponds to gene expression fold change.I was wondering if for example M-value of -1.27 which means 0.41 in fold change, doesn it mean 0.41 of the control (in my experiment wild type? Better say does it mean this gene is down-regulated by 41% or 59% (1-41)? I was abit confused about it. I appreciate if anyone can help me to figure this out. Thanks in Advance, Solmaz Alizadeh
