Dears Gunter an Ripley,
Ok, it is clear now! So, this topic can be closed.
The problem was that the '.SavedPlots' object is generated in the user
workspace only after a second plot
inside a graphic device and it is visible only with ls(all.names=T).
PS: obviously, this consumes memory.
