1) Please update your R: 2.5.0 is imminent.
2) Please read the 'R Installation and Adminstration manual'. R itself
in
not multithreaded but can make use of multithreaded BLAS.
3) A search of the list archives would have produced many hits, as does
RSiteSearch("multithreaded"), with more information.
