R help - Sep 2006 - [OT] Important stat dates

Dear R People:

Way Off Topic:

Is anyone aware of a website that contains important dates
in statistics history, please?

Maybe a sort of "This Day in Statistics", please?

I thought that my students might get a kick out of that.

(actually I will probably enjoy it more than them!)

I tried (via Google) "today in statistics" and "today in
statistics
history" but nothing worthwhile appeared.
