R help - Jul 2006 - Monospaced fonts in legends

Is there a way of using monospaced fonts in legends in a plot,
but still using standard proportionally spaced fonts for all the titles?

Yes, just use the family= argument as appropriate, e.g.
par(family="mono")
before calling legend.
