One option is
library(R2HTML)
?HTML.cormat
The thing you're after is traffic highlighting (via CSS or HTML tags).
If HTML.cormat() doesn't do exactly what you want, modify the source
code. (By the way, I haven't used R2HTML so far so maybe there's a
more appropriate function.)
