I don't think the result from _princomp _ should be rotated. The definition of "principal components" explicitly indicates that the result is to have axes that are uncorrelated and line up in directions of maximum variance. If I am wrong,I hope some one else to point it out. 2006/4/16, Yong Wang <wangyong1 at gmail.com>:> Dear R users > the factanal pacakge is always MLE, which package can do varimax > rotation with the results from princomp ? > > thank you > > yong > > ______________________________________________ > R-help at stat.math.ethz.ch mailing list > https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-help > PLEASE do read the posting guide! http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html >-- ??????
