R help - Jan 2006 - Alternative to ARIMA?

Hi All.,

I read that ARIMA is appropriate for a minimum of 50 repeated
observations - 

Unfortunately, I have 8 repeated observations.

Is there a viable alterative to ARIMA out there to analyze a trend of 8
repeated observations?

Or when violated does ARIMA remain robust?
