R help - Jun 2004 - Remove space for title in plot

Dear R Users,

When plotting, R by default leaves some "white space" at the top of
the
graph for the title. How can I get rid or reduce the size of the amount
of space decicated for the title? Thanks!

Use par(mar=) (or mai=).  This is described in detail in `An Introduction 
to R'.  Something like
> par(mar=c(5,4,2,2)+0.1)
                ^ reduced from 4
