The SRPM for 1.7.0 and RPMS for Mandrake 9.1, 9.0 and 8.2 have been successfully compiled and uploaded and will propagate through CRAN in due course. Versions for 8.1 and 8.0 have incurred into a problem with make check-all and will be uploaded as soon as this has been fixed ... probably after Easter at this point !
