R help - Mar 2003 - Calling R program from an IDE

Greetings,

There are several editors that can call command prompts or have conficuration
tools.  While learning these, I have noticed that I do not know how to execute
an R program from the command line external to the R interactive environment. 
It is very clearly stated for Unix type systems, but I do not see the equivalent
documentation for Windows.  Please send me the link to this information.
