R help - Nov 2002 - How to solve equations involving exponentials with different bases?

Is there a way to use R to solve for Xt  in the following equation:

Yt  =  Sum over i (Ait Bi Ci^Xt)

t goes from 1 to 110 and i goes from 1 to 100.
