During the last 24 hours or so, quite a few e-mails have been delayed for the R-help (and in one case the R-announce) mailing lists. The double posting of "New version of ipred package" to R-announce is my fault, not the posters. I apologize for all inconveniences. The reason is a mail server upgrade and reconfiguration. This should all be past now and the delayed mail hopefully soon arrive everywhere. The good news is that the mail server should now be considerably more powerful, i.e. delays in general should have become smaller. (please do *NOT* reply to R-help and discuss the delays .. we've been there more than once) Yours, Martin Maechler <maechler at stat.math.ethz.ch> http://stat.ethz.ch/~maechler/ Seminar fuer Statistik, ETH-Zentrum LEO C16 Leonhardstr. 27 ETH (Federal Inst.
