R help - Jul 2002 - libR.so question

Hi,

  I am facing a problem in locating (or installing) libR.so. Installed R
  using
  ./configure --enable-R-shlib --prefix=/home/njain/util/R-1.5.1
  make
  make install

  but could not find libR.so in /home/njain/util/R-1.5.1/

  Any suggestions?

On my setup at least I find it in R/bin/libR.so (as well as
R/src/main/libR.so).

If you're on a unix system, you could always try "find
/home/njain/util/R-1.5.1 -name libR.so -print" and see what it spits
out.  On Windows you could use the file finder thing, whatever it is.
