Hi. The 25th and 75th percentiles are on the boxplot: they're the lower and upper edges of the box. So I'm guessing you want to print the text next to the edges, you'll need to capture the output of boxplot and look at the "stats" element. Then, with a little bit of messing around to get the locations you want right, you should be able to use "text". Take a look at the help pages for boxplot and boxplot.stats (which actually gets the statistics). Hope this helps, Matthew Wiener Applied Computer Science and Mathematics Department Merck Research Labs Rahway, NJ 07065-0900 732-594-5303 -----Original Message----- From: Xiao, Nianqing (NCI) [mailto:xiaon at mail.nih.gov] Sent: Wednesday, June 05, 2002 11:04 AM To: r-help at stat.math.ethz.ch Subject: [R] How to put values of 25 and 75 percentile on boxplot?
