[R] Sweave gives different output with different R sessions
Hello everybody I am using Sweave() to write a paper, but am getting an undesired pink background on the eps files. In trying to sort this out, I eventually ran Sweave() on the *same* .Rnw file from within two separate R sessions; one of them gave pink output and one gave white output. This behaviour seems to be reproducible (one session is ESS and one not) and even happens on the testfile given in the Sweave() documentation. The eps files created by the two R sessions differ in two lines which presumably set the background colour. My understanding must be flawed somewhere. What am I doing wrong?> R.Version()$platform [1] "i686-pc-linux-gnu" $arch [1] "i686" $os [1] "linux-gnu" $system [1] "i686, linux-gnu" $status [1] "" $major [1] "1" $minor [1] "5.0" $year [1] "2002" $month [1] "04" $day [1] "29" $language [1] "R" -- Robin Hankin, Lecturer, School of Geographical and Environmental Science Private Bag 92019 Auckland New Zealand r.hankin at auckland.ac.nz tel 0064-9-373-7599 x6820; FAX 0064-9-373-7042 as of: Tue May 14 11:34:00 NZST 2002 This (linux) system up continuously for: 257 days, 18 hours, 29 minutes -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
