R help - Nov 2001 - Is there someone working on an R interface for Numerical Recipes?

Or can I easily call the routines in Numerical Recipes from within R?

Methods for interfacing to general C or Fortran code are outlined in
the "R Extensions" manual.

You should however beware that the licenses on R and NR are in
conflict, and that you might get into difficulties in distributing
your code. I don't think there's much material in NR that isn't
already covered by other routines in R.
