R help - Nov 2001 - R for Mac OS X

It seems that R 1.3.1 is not very stable for Mac OS X.
I installed it some days ago and had about 10-20 crashes
in the last days.
In S-Plus I never had these problems (or seldom), but
I worked on Win NT.

Who can help?

We need more information: for a start, which R -- the Carbon or the Darwin
one, and in what way it is crashing.

I have been using R 1.3.1 regularly on OS X (10.0.4 and 10.1) and it
hasn't crashed yet.  It *is* impossible to interrupt on OS X (a known
bug).
