Do you know what I really, really miss in R that I took fopr granted in my XLisp-Stat programming days??? The ability to easily create menus and dialog boxes. I could write little applications and give them out to clients. It was wonderful. It would at least allow each person to begin to build one's own menu driven version. Just a thought!! Just a thought!!Same thought seems to be dropping into several peoples head these days, along with the spreadsheet/dataeditor wishes. The basic problem is that these things need design or we'll likely paint ourselves into a corner... -- O__ ---- Peter Dalgaard Blegdamsvej 3 c/ /'_ --- Dept. of Biostatistics 2200 Cph. The Windows interface may even get ported to Linux/Unix. Of course if we had more contributors it might get done faster! All the required pieces are we believe in the graphapp toolkit in the source.
