Reduced usability of the new Puppet website design?
Hi all, While I can understand the desire to customise the default Trac site, the new website design appears to me to be a step back in terms of usability in two areas. Firstly, the top fixed navigation banner and bottom Trac banner take up valuable screen space no matter when you have scrolled to in the page. I also find them quite distracting from the content that I''m trying to read. Secondly, printing on Linux (FC6 and Firefox 2) seems to be completely broken, possibly by the fixed div on the bottom. Instead of printing multiple pages, I can only print the first page and the text appears just to flow over and never actually gets printed. Anyone else agree? Or disagree? Or disagree?I do agree with your comments, and I want to add that on my computer (a two years ago Pentium 4 running on debian Etch) scrolling the window content is terribly slow under Firefox, which renders browsing the documentation a quite painful process. Konqueror doesn''t seem to be affected (but has different renderer artifacts), though. Regards,

Or disagree? After browsing the site this morning (Australian time), I see that the header and footer have been updated. I think not having them floating over the rest of the content is a good decision for usability. Thanks for making the changes (and I do like the rest of the design!).
