Anyone using trac on centos?
(Besides Paul, who's busy?)
I just need one question answered: I keep reading the docs, and given the
old traditional
/var/www
I get that part of trac should be installed in /var/www/trac/<myproj> (I
think); what I can't figure out is whether there is *anything* under the
document root, that is, /var/www/html/trac/<myproject>.
Anyone have a clue? Do I even need it as a placeholder, or does anything
actually go in there?

[OT] Linux Development Environment - suggestions
...e to put my svn repository. Where would you
guys recommend? Should I just stick it into my own user folder, somewhere
like /home/ramin/dev/repos ? I thought I''d put it in a more global are,
incase I have more users later and they need to add projects to the
repository.
I also intalled trac using apt-get but now I''m not so sure how to setup the
Trac Environment. Do I put it in a global area or under my own user folder
or under each project? Am I supposed to create a new trac env. for each
project or do they all share the same env.? The same question would apply to
svn as...

trac, agilo plugin, rpm, aughghgh!!!
CentOS 6.5, with the current trac, and trac-agilo-plugin.
I seem to have problems, and maybe even a bug in the packaging.
I installed and got trac running with authentication. Fine. I installed
and enabled the agilo plugin. Supposedly fine.
Except it doesn't work.
On the trac web pages, in the upper right, there's a tex...

Japanese Puppet users
...d mizzy.org[2] recently.
I haven''t looked into translations of Puppet''s documentation much,
but this might be a good place to start. Do people think
translations are a good idea? Does anyone have experience with how
this should be done, especially how it might work within Trac?
Also, we''ll need to handle the inline documentation within the Puppet
code, which is where all of the reference documents are from. How
should we handle those?

Puppet''s TRAC somehow broken?
Hey all,
it seems that the Ticket section of Puppet''s homepage does not work.
Searching and Listing of Tickets works fine, showing an individual
Ticket shows stack-traces.
What is wrong there?
Thanks,
udo.

I seem to be getting the following error from the wiki, in both

generic trac question
Probably not the best time to ask this considering people are busy for
the next release, but we're looking at trac for a project (apparently)
and I remembered that there was a Xiph plan to move away from it. Does
anyone have time to recall the reasons (I don't need an essay, just a
keyword or two would be appreciated.

xapian websites available via https
Xapian?s websites (xapian.org, trac.xapian.org and lists.xapian.org) are now available via https: https://xapian.org, https://trac.xapian.org and https://lists.xapian.org/mailman/listinfo. (Currently https://lists.xapian.org/ redirects to non-https, because of limitations in mailman.)

Web Site Trak errors and Python tracebacks
I''m getting quite a lot of errors when viewing pages on the Wiki. I
thought it was bad links but the page will usually be served after a few
reloads. It''s not a big deal, I just thought I should tell someone.
Here is an example traceback from
https://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/Modules, a reload actually gave
me a nice looking "Page not found" but I get the same errors with pages
that do exist, for example https://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/timeline

How to register on trac.xiph.org?
Hi there,
I just wanted to submit a patch for libao on http/::trac.xiph.org. The
page tells me:
"If you would like to report a bug or request a feature, please add
a ticket."
with a link. When I follow that link, it asks me for a username &
password. Same for the "login" button, of course. However, I have not

Trac not for general use?
Hi devs,
I was trying to open a new ticket with a minor doc patch at the
BackgroundDrb Trac (http://backgroundrb.devjavu.com/) and it seems
like only admins have permission to do so. Is this intended?
I read in the readme that patches should be mailed to this list, but I
much prefer to use Trac since there''s already one set up. Any reason
Trac is not open to registered Devjavu u...

vorbiscomment bug
Hi,
Sorry - not sure if this is the right list for such an email, but... I
posted to the vorbis@xiph.org list and received no response.
I was hoping to report a bug (at http://trac.xiph.org/), but I don't see
any obvious way to create an account, as is required by Xiph's trac
instance.
I actually found another ticket describing the issue that I was going to
report: http://trac.xiph.org/ticket/136 ; however, this claims to have
been fixed back in 2002 for version 1.0...
