Puppet users - Feb 2007 - package arch types?

Is it possible to specify an arch type (e.g. i386 or x86_64, etc) when 
using the package resource type?

Let you install i386 RPMs on an x86_64 system, which is sometimes
unfortunately necessary to support some broken application you can''t
recompile.

IIRC, the yum provider just passes the name of the package resource
straight to yum. So "package { ''glibc.i386'' : ensure
=> latest }" should
work in theory, but I haven''t tried it.

I just realized that I filed a ticket for myself (#265) for just this.
Please add comments with any breakage to that. I''ll look into that next
week, promise.

Things like this -- passing extra information to the packaging system  
-- seem to be coming up in droves right now.  I just want to note  
that I''m perfectly willing to extend the functionality of the package  
type to support anything (reasonable) that people are looking for, as  
long as you can come up with a consistent way of expressing it.
