Hello, Just getting my head around Xen. I''ve been able to successfully install a Solaris dom0 and domU with the latest Solaris Xen code drop. Now I''m moving on to Fedora Core 6 (64), and Its failing. I''m following the instructions posted to http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/xen/docs/fedora-install.htm But early in the install process I see GUI and shell errors stating Warning Could not get identity of device /tmp/hda - Invalid argument 96 Which I think are eventually preventing Fedora from installing. Google doesn''t show anything about this error. I was wondering if anyone had ideas on this? Also, if anyone has suggestions on an appropriate FC release to use, I am all ears! Thanks... --joe

I think the first warning isn''t a problem... regards john

I was doing a top during the install and it appeared that the process /usr/sbin/build-locale-archive started, did a some work, but now is just sitting there. Now, here''s something interesting, I just attempted to poke around in the mounted partitions, so I change directories to /mnt/sysimage. I attempted to ls the directory and ls is just hung. Thoughts? --joe

It hangs at Running anaconda, the Fedora Core system installer - please wait... I suppose I can try setting up an HVM DomU --joe
