[Nut-upsuser] Model list missing my UPS, here is info for inclusion on the list
Hello Niels, thanks a lot for this compatibility submission. This is part of the remaining things at Eaton. I've added an entry to the new Hardware Compatibility List: http://new.networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html BTW, have you tested a shutdown with this unit? Otherwise, you should! thanks again, Arnaud Quette Le samedi 02 octobre 2010 ? 12:42 +0200, Niels Kristian Jensen a ?crit :> http://www.networkupstools.org/compat/stable.html > > > > Verified using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS: > > EATON Powerware 5130 using UPS cable works. > > lsusb shows: > ID 0463:ffff MGE UPS Systems UPS > > > nkj at grisen:~$ sudo upsc PingvinUPS > battery.capacity: 9.00 > battery.charge: 71 > battery.charge.low: 20 > battery.charge.restart: 0 > battery.energysave: no > battery.protection: yes > battery.runtime: 2449 > battery.type: PbAc > device.mfr: EATON > device.model: 5130 RT 3000 > device.serial: NC302C5031 > device.type: ups > driver.name: usbhid-ups > driver.parameter.pollfreq: 30 > driver.parameter.pollinterval: 2 > driver.parameter.port: auto > driver.version: 2.4.3 > driver.version.data: MGE HID 1.18 > driver.version.internal: 0.34 > input.frequency: 49.0 > input.frequency.extended: no > input.frequency.nominal: 50 > input.sensitivity: normal > input.transfer.boost.low: 184 > input.transfer.high: 294 > input.transfer.low: 160 > input.transfer.trim.high: 265 > input.voltage: 233.0 > input.voltage.extended: no > input.voltage.nominal: 230 > outlet.1.autoswitch.charge.low: 0 > outlet.1.delay.shutdown: 65535 > outlet.1.delay.start: 3 > outlet.1.desc: PowerShare Outlet 1 > outlet.1.id: 1 > outlet.1.status: on > outlet.1.switchable: yes > outlet.2.autoswitch.charge.low: 0 > outlet.2.delay.shutdown: 65535 > outlet.2.delay.start: 6 > outlet.2.desc: PowerShare Outlet 2 > outlet.2.id: 2 > outlet.2.status: on > outlet.2.switchable: yes > outlet.desc: Main Outlet > outlet.id: 0 > outlet.switchable: no > output.current: 0.60 > output.frequency: 49.0 > output.frequency.nominal: 50 > output.powerfactor: 0.00 > output.voltage: 9812.0 > output.voltage.nominal: 230 > ups.beeper.status: enabled > ups.delay.shutdown: 20 > ups.delay.start: 30 > ups.firmware: 6006AC > ups.load: 4 > ups.load.high: 105 > ups.mfr: EATON > ups.model: 5130 RT 3000 > ups.power: 144 > ups.power.nominal: 3000 > ups.productid: ffff > ups.realpower: 108 > ups.realpower.nominal: 2700 > ups.serial: NC302C5031 > ups.start.auto: yes > ups.start.battery: yes > ups.start.reboot: yes > ups.status: OL CHRG > ups.test.interval: 604800 > ups.test.result: Done and passed > ups.timer.shutdown: -1 > ups.timer.start: -1 > ups.type: offline / line interactive > ups.vendorid: 0463 > > Best regards and thank you very much for your efforts, > Niels Kristian Jensen > A Scouting and Guiding IT supporter in Denmark-- Linux/Unix Expert R&D - Eaton - http://www.eaton.com/mgeops Network UPS Tools (NUT) Project Leader - http://www.networkupstools.org/ Debian Developer - http://www.debian.org Free Software Developer - http://arnaud.quette.free.fr/ -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eaton Power Quality S.A.S. ~ Si?ge social: 110 Rue Blaise Pascal, Immeuble Le Vis?o - B?timent A Innovall?e, 38334, Montbonnot St Martin, France ~ Lieu d'enregistrement au registre du commerce: Grenoble ~ Num?ro d'enregistrement: 302 636 303 ~ Capital social souscrit et liber?:? 70380.2749999999939 ~ Num?ro de TVA: FR 76 302 636 303

Citeren Arnaud Quette <ArnaudQuette op Eaton.com>:> battery.charge: 71What does the above read after 24 hours charging? Is it still below 100%?> output.voltage: 9812.0This can't be right... :-) @Niels: can you post the first 20 seconds worth of output from /path/to/usbhid-ups -DDD -a PingvinUPS Please gzip the results (to save bandwidth) and post as an attachment (to preserve formatting) here. Chances are that we need some special formatting for this device in order to get meaningful values for the above two values. @Arnaud: can you confirm this is an issue with the Eaton 5130 RT 3000 UPS? Best regards, Arjen -- Please keep list traffic on the list (off-list replies will be rejected)
