In Google Chrome, navigate to:

On my on my GTX 650, this causes the desktop to lock-up with the Nouveau
drivers, but passes with the Nvidia proprietary driver. 
dmesg failure output:

Tested on Ubuntu 14.04 with default mesa and Ubuntu 15.10 with edgers(Mesa
11.0)
