In Google Chrome, navigate to:

On my on my GTX 650, this causes the desktop to lock-up with the Nouveau
drivers, but passes with the Nvidia proprietary driver. 

dmesg failure output:

Tested on Ubuntu 14.04 with default mesa and Ubuntu 15.10 with edgers(Mesa
11.0)

Still hard locking system(no Magic SysRq reboot) on 13.0 with Arch

$ uname -a
Linux arch 4.8.13-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Dec 9 07:24:34 CET 2016 x86_64
GNU/Linux

$ glxinfo |grep -i opengl
OpenGL vendor string: nouveau
OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on NVE7
OpenGL core profile version string: 4.3 (Core Profile) Mesa 13.0.3
