[Nouveau] [Bug 15729] nouveau fails to get ddc info from screen
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15729 --- Comment #2 from Ra?l Soriano <GatoLoko at gmail.com> 2008-04-29 02:14:34 PST --- I've tryed the patch and it fixes the ddc problem. Now nouveau gets the list of modelines and works with it, but ignores the xorg configured resolution (1400x1050) that isn't in the ddc list, and has worked previously with nouveau and nvidia drivers. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.

http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15729 --- Comment #6 from Stuart Bennett <sb476 at cam.ac.uk> 2008-04-29 08:30:58 PST --- The loss of 1400x1050 is due to your xserver not having commit 4b5b6e7baab58072a983d2ec136965f404c3a74a "fix max clock unit". You either need a newer xserver, or to follow instructions III.5 in http://wiki.debian.org/XStrikeForce/HowToRandR12, with a modeline of Modeline "1400x1050_74.8" 155.80 1400 1464 1784 1912 1050 1052 1064 1090 +hsync +vsync -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
