[LLVMdev] LLVM job opportunities at Qualcomm Innovation Center
LLVM Developers, The compiler teams at the Qualcomm Innovation Center are hiring. In summary, we are doing interesting things with LLVM; come join us! I have included a more detailed description below. If you are interested, please contact me at adasgupt at quicinc.com -Anshu --- Opportunities at Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc. Compiler Technologies Mobile devices are increasingly supporting sophisticated applications that only a few years ago were run exclusively on the desktop. The mobile platforms of today are complex system on chips (SOCs) with more than 10 heterogeneous compute units including CPUs, DSPs, and GPUs. This requires a comprehensive application development framework and a set of leading tool-chains. Compilers for high-level programming languages are a critical component of such tool-chains. Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc. (QuIC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, is investing heavily in tool-chains to harness the computational power available in the next generation of mobile devices. QuIC is steadily growing its compiler teams working on the DSP and the ARM-CPU backend for LLVM. It is an exciting opportunity for compiler engineers to develop both static & JIT compilers for the mobile SOC platform. This work involves close collaboration with the silicon and OS teams at Qualcomm as well as the general LLVM community. If you have a passion for compiler development, the perseverance to ensure a compiler generates high quality assembly code, and a desire to see your work touch the lives of 100s of millions -- QuIC is interested in meeting you. If interested please contact Anshuman Dasgupta at adasgupt at quicinc.com Skills desired: Compiler development experience; knowledge of computer architecture and Operating systems; familiarity with assemblers, linkers, loaders, object file formats, instruction set simulators, debuggers, and assembly language programming. 5 to 10 years of programming experience in C/C++. Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc. (QuIC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated that brings together a dedicated group of engineers focused on growing innovation. With the goal of investing greater resources into enabling and optimizing open source software with Qualcomm technology, QuIC works closely with the open source community to enable the faster advancement of the wireless industry as a whole. ---
