streamTranscoder can take a mp3 stream off a shoutcast/icecast1 or 2
server and put it into an ogg stream.
you can find streamTranscoder on www.oddsock.org
for dialup streams, if most use a 56k modem (which is almost always 33k
upstream or even less), then the stream should be not more than 24k.
