a few questions about relaying
Hi there list, I have a few questions here. First of all, can I relay an mp3 shoutcast relay even though I am using ices2 for the ogg format? Secondly, if the first question is a yes how would I set my server to be used for dialup streams. In other words I would have to decrease the bit rate to accomodate the dial up users. Could this be done with out causing any hard ships to what I already

This week alone there have been more than 1019 questions and replies. -> http://www.chez.com/winenews/ There are also for sale and wanted ads and a section giving the market value of wines. Among the 14 ads placed this week there have been some really good deals including a magnum of 1945 Pichon Lalande and a 1947 Cheval blanc! We also provide a particularly useful service with our Wine Pricing Guide encompassing 4800 different wines and based on auction sales of 150000 lots sold worldwide. Let me make it clear - Wine Alley itself does not sell or buy wine: we simply offer...

Best small server config
Hi, Busy with dovecot on a linux server with not very much RAM in it (512 MB max total). On this server dovecot will only handle about 12 users, with never more than 3 IMAP webmail users at a time, and a maximum of 2 POP3 users at a time using it. I'm going all secure later on, but first I would like your opinion on what configuration best to use with, say, max 5 users busy at one time, and

Until now the only command for loops i found it's the for() command it's only for series of numbers and not a series of strings, witch it's what i'm needing. CBC radio's science show archives Ogg
Earlier today while listening to CBC radio's national science show "Quirks and Quarks", I was pleasantly surprised to hear that their audio archives are now offered in Ogg, in addition to mp3 and real. This is the first CBC show that I am aware of that offers their archives in formats other than the usual real/wma/qt. For those who don't know, CBC is Canada's only

Ices 2.0 beta3
This is to announce the release of ices 2.0 beta 3. The source client for streaming Ogg Vorbis to Icecast 2. After far too much time having passed since beta 2, where many fixes and updates have been applied, it's time to push for a full 2.0 release. This beta is really to flush out any remaining issues, so no new functionality is to be added until after the 2.0 release. Download from

parsing icecast 1 and icecast2 logs in GUI web format
I know this was mentioned some time back, but I am curious if anyone has had any further success with this. My radio station is looking for a nice clean comprehensive overview of all connections to our icecast 1 and 2 servers. Someone had tweaked the webalizer program to render all the stats in a nice GUI format. However, there were still a couple items missing. Just wondering what everyone else
