I've made a few posts to this mailing list regarding my Google Summer of Code project, and had almost no responses. If anyone has any suggestions or comments, please do so. http://wiki.xiph.org/index.php/Icebreaker -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I haven't yet looked into the code now available on SVN, so I can't comment. I did mention, though that I would like Icebreaker to work with XSPF per default, both in the wiki and the mailing list. I suggest that other members of the Iceast community should give a look at the SVN repository, as well, and try to build Icebreaker. -Ivo
Hi Ivo, This program is basically a configurable automation system for Ices. You can (will be able to) use it to control what Ices plays and when. As such, it really doesn't have anything to do with playlist file formats such as XSPF, as all its data will be contained in a database. It may be desirable for the system to be able to import lists of tracks etc from existing playlist formats, and certainly XSPF should be supported if such a feature were implemented, but I'd think that that's where the relevance to XSPF would end. Geoff.
