Hi all, We currently have a blocking issue with ext4 ( https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=865812). Our plan is now to migrate the bricks away from ext4 to xfs. root at prd-os-compute2:~# gluster volume info all Volume Name: vol0 Type: Distributed-Replicate Volume ID: 211c824d-b71f-4ce2-b56a-98d0ef68cd1a Status: Started Number of Bricks: 2 x 2 = 4 Transport-type: tcp Bricks: Brick1: prd-os-compute1:/data/brick0 Brick2: prd-os-compute2:/data/brick0 Brick3: prd-os-compute3:/data/brick0 Brick4: prd-os-compute4:/data/brick0 Options Reconfigured: performance.cache-size: 256MB The easiest way would be to stop gluster on a brick, format it with xfs and start gluster. But I'm not sure if that will work and how long it would take. We have about 1 TB data on each brick (vm files). What would you suggest? Did you made any similar migrations?
