Gluster users - Mar 2010 - io-cache undefined symbol: notify dumpops

I'm running gluster on ubuntu Karmic on Amazon EC2, compiled from 3.0.2 
source - but io-cache is not working as it complains about missing the 
symbols "notify" and "dumpops"

Which libraries should I have loaded to provide these?

The missing symbols are harmless. The "notify" and "dumpops"
functions need not
be defined by all translators. In this case, io-cache has not defined them, but
that
doesn't affect its operation.
