Ext3 users - Jun 2003 - devfs and ext3?

Hi!

Today I switched over to devfs. I'm on Debian unstable, installed
devfsd, installed a kernel with devfs support and "devfs mount on
boot".

Reboot, devfs is being used.

All over a sudden, dmesg reports:

Are there incompatabilities with ext3 and devfs?

NAFAIK. Did you install devfsd as well?

Though this is not an authorative answer, I can tell you that I never had
any problem with ext3 and devfs. I'm running two Gentoo boxes with ext3
and as Gentoo requires devfs me and other Gentoo users should have seen
such problems if there where fundamental ones.

Yes. It works all well now. It must have been another problem related
to a fsck prior to that.
