Tried to convert a 60 gig ext2 disk to ext3. Used tune2fs version 1.22 (it said). The filesystem refused to be converted with that version. Upgraded to 1.25 of e2fsprogs and the problem went away. My two cents. /Benjamin

Not much point reporting that if it's already fixed! - -- Cheers, Chris Howells -- chris@chrishowells.co.uk, howells@kde.org Web: chrishowells.co.uk, PGP key: chrishowells.co.uk/pgp.txt KDE: koffice.org, edu.kde.org, usability.kde.org -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see gnupg.org iD8DBQE76YQ0F8Iu1zN5WiwRAsOHAJ9mfOl/WL0RgaZrhni+VUz2auEw5gCfXp8z 5zAwlLTNAwVTZfOgCWOxiEU=ztg7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

"It refused" isn't a particularly complete description of the problem. :-) Thanks, Stephen
