Since updating in accord with the supported process is unaffected by the requirement for the audit group, there appeared no reason to note it in UPDATING. -- R. When you run mergemaster -p BEFORE trying to installworld, it will add a group to you /etc/groups file. Unless you decide to put it off. You can do this manually by adding the line audit:*:77: to the group file. Randy
