Hi,
In preparation for a migration from maildir to mdbox, I am using dsync
backup to do initial mailbox copies (at this point I do not want to risk
any changes to the maildir). The initial run of dsync runs fine, but a
second run to migrate any changes since the first run produces errors
for many users. Here is an example of the type of error produced:
> # dsync -u user backup mdbox:~/mdbox
> # dsync -u user backup mdbox:~/mdbox
> dsync(user): Error: Can't delete mailbox INBOX: INBOX can't be
deleted.
> dsync(user): Error: Can't delete mailbox directory XXXXXX.courses:
Mailbox has children, delete them first
> dsync(user): Error: Can't delete mailbox directory XXXXXX: Mailbox has
children, delete them first
> dsync(user): Error: Can't delete mailbox directory XXXXXX.XX1: Mailbox
has children, delete them first
> dsync(user): Error: Can't delete mailbox directory XXXXXX.XX2: Mailbox
has children, delete them first
> dsync(user): Error: Can't delete mailbox directory XXXXXXXX: Mailbox
has children, delete them first
> dsync(user): Error: Can't delete mailbox directory XXX: Mailbox has
children, delete them first
> dsync(user): Error: Trying to open a non-listed mailbox with

> dsync(user): Error: msg iteration failed: Couldn't open mailbox
